REMAX Outdoor Group
Big sunset sky over open rural ground

Join ROG

Not every agent.The right ones.

We're building the land team the Southeast has been missing — carefully, and one good agent at a time.

Why agents join ROG

Anyone can hang a license. Not everyone can move land.

Land is a specialist's business. The agents who win at it have a brand behind them, expertise beside them, and a story to tell. That's what we built ROG to be.

01

The REMAX name behind you

More than 145,000 agents in over 124 countries. When you call a landowner, a lender, or a lawyer, the name on your card opens the door before you say a word.

02

A bench of specialists

Forestry, wildlife, ponds and dirt, conservation, 1031 exchanges — inside the team, not a referral across town. You bring the client; the expertise is already in the building.

03

Marketing that tells the story

Our properties get walked, photographed, and written like the ground deserves. A story sells an acre in a way a spreadsheet never will — and it's how our listings get found, by people and by search engines alike.

04

Partners who live this life

The people leading ROG run equipment, walk ground, and manage their own land. You won't be explaining your business to somebody from an office park.

Who we're looking for

Three kinds of people.

The land specialist

You already sell land — hunting ground, farms, timber — and you want a bigger stage, better tools, and a brand that matches the work.

The agent going deeper

You sell real estate and keep getting pulled toward the rural side. You're ready to stop dabbling and make land your profession.

The team or brokerage

You've built something and you're weighing the next move. This is a different conversation — alignment, reach, and what joining could mean for your people.

Don't see yourself in a box? That's fine — most good agents don't fit one. Tell us where you are and what you're building, and we'll figure out together whether ROG is the right place to build it.

We'll be straight with you

This probably isn't for you if…

We'd rather turn away the wrong agent than talk the right one out of joining. So before you reach out, read this part honestly.

01

You want a desk, a drip campaign, and a phone that rings by itself.

02

Volume matters more to you than the deal done right.

03

Land is a niche to you, not a way of life.

04

You want a big brand without doing the work that earns it.

Still reading? Good. That's a start.

How it goes

Joining ROG, step by step

  1. 01

    The conversation

You tell us where you are — licensed or not, new or twenty years in — and what you're trying to build. We listen first.

  2. 02

    We walk ground together

Spend a day with us on a property. See how we evaluate land, how we tell its story, and how the team works. It's the honest version of who we are.

  3. 03

    We build your plan

Your market, your pipeline, your training, your goals — written down and worked, not a folder that gets shelved after week one.

  4. 04

    You launch with backup

The REMAX brand, the specialist bench, the marketing engine — behind you from your first listing, not someday.

No hoops, no pitch deck. The first step is a conversation — about you, the business you want, and whether ROG is the place to build it.

Questions agents ask

Straight answers.

Do I need land experience?

Not necessarily — but you need the drive to learn it the right way. Land isn't something you pick up from a weekend course. If you're new, we'll train you on the ground: walking properties, learning water, timber, soils, and access, working alongside people who have spent decades in it. What we can't teach is the willingness to work for it.

Do I need a real estate license?

To practice, yes — in Alabama, Florida, and every state we serve. If you don't have one yet but land is where you want to be, reach out anyway. We'll walk you through getting licensed and what the first year actually looks like.

Where are you hiring?

We're building in Alabama and Florida first, with Georgia close behind. If you're a land agent somewhere else in the Southeast or the Heartland and think there's a fit, the conversation is still worth having.

What does the money look like?

Real estate pays on commission, and land is no different. We don't recruit with big promises about splits, caps, or earnings. What we offer is the reach of the REMAX network, an internal bench of land specialists, marketing that actually sells ground, and honest guidance on building a land business. We talk numbers directly, once we both think there's a fit.

What makes ROG different from other land brokerages?

Three things. The REMAX network behind every listing — more than 145,000 agents worldwide. An internal crew that improves land before it sells — ponds, timber, roads, wildlife habitat. And marketing that tells the story of the ground instead of just listing acreage and a price.

Can I join part-time?

Honestly? Land is hard to do halfway. Clients call about ground worth real money, and they expect a real answer. If land is your second act rather than your side hustle, we should talk — but this isn't a license-holding arrangement.
